Early morning band practice.

Making noise out the back is always super fun. Especially when dad and grandma are helping.

Two feet, toys and coffee.

Spending some escape time with my beautiful daughter. Catching up on recent important moments in our lives. I love her ingenuity in an attempt to mix her toy in my coffee and then her total abandon of material possessions as she spies her milk formula and disregards anything that remotely held her attention. We play catch and throw on the ground. She's a champion at throwing toys on the ground and i'm pretty good at throwing them back to her :) end for now

This is the sun.

A quite moderate dust storm has severely impaired visibility throughout the east coast of australia.

This is why the younger generation are having more accidents on our roads.

This is a graphic illustration of what you should not do when you're in charge of a motor vehicle. I sincerely hope that the lesson you learned here will save at least one life, somewhere. Peace and big love to you all on fathers day here in australia, from me and my gorgeous daughter.

This was the original capture.

Catch the sunset.

Finally, the air has cooled and it almost feels like winter again...

Getting ready for the day.

This bloody photo is sideways but you get the idea. She's wearing clothes my nana gave her a while back, when they were way too big for her.

Interesting...

the last few days have been a little confusing for me... sort of not knowing where i'm going, not knowing where i want to go, or where i want to be. i think i might also be a little upset that the cold i love so much, has quickly disappeared. all that is left is the heat... coming directly from the sun to warm our world in the most terrible way. a two or three degree Celsius temperature increase doesn't mean that much for us, but an increase of this magnitude every decade or couple of decades means amazingly horrible things for distant future generations. maybe we'll see the evolution of new species due to the lower cost of heat production in mammals, as a result of population explosion as the earth has seen in the past. algal blooms in the arctic circle. who knows? i most probably will not be around to see a great deal of change. even though my views are such, i go on consuming fossil fuel derived power to keep me cool, to write pointless blogs, to answer phone calls, to send text messages that are not replied to. but all is good as long as we all keep consuming... more to come

Playing with the remote controls. Not interested in their usefulness to change the tv station, rather their resemblance to mobile telephones. We've been pretending to call each other on them. :)

Sister and boyfriend.

Just having finished dinner at a lovely japanese restaurant, we hastily raced back to the car to make the journey back to the sunshine coast where another 21st was already in full swing no doubt. Though this time not that of our step brother.

My face after work,
